Scientific Field Lysimeter


Same design as the Hydro Lysimeter but with a depth of 2 meters. Completed by sensors and sampling devices in several depths.


Typical Applications

  • Measurement of the volumetric water content, soil water tension and temperature.
  • Soil water extraction at depths of
    10 cm, 30 cm, 90 cm, 180 cm. Therefore, we recommend it for wasted soil risk assessment or bio remediation studies.

Advantages

  • In addition to the advantages of the Hydro-Lysimeter readings and water samples are taken from monolith horizons under field conditions to describe the freights and flow rates also inside the soil profile from 10 cm down to 180 cm.

Limitations


  • Not suitable for slopes or in forests
  • Snow needs to be cut along the gap before icing to maintain the weighing capability
  • Not for agri-cultivation applications
